Sharifa Raouf is the visionary designer and founder of The House of Couture, located in the heart of Walnut Creek, CA — a premier destination for luxury bridal and custom fashion. With a lifelong passion for artistry and elegance, Sharifa has dedicated her career to creating garments that embody sophistication, individuality, and timeless beauty.

Her journey began as an Assistant Designer to renowned bridal designer Anne Barge, where she honed her skills in couture craftsmanship. After earning her degree in Fashion Design and years of experience in the industry — including custom designs for The Miss USA Pageant — Sharifa realized her dream and opened The House of Couture in 2006.

Today, The House of Couture is celebrated for custom-made bridal gowns, evening wear, and bespoke men’s suits — each crafted with precision, using the finest fabrics, hand-finished details, and impeccable tailoring. Sharifa’s talent also extends to bridesmaids’ dresses, special occasion gowns, and full wedding party attire, ensuring every client enjoys a fully customized and cohesive look for life’s most meaningful celebrations.

Beyond her own couture creations, The House of Couture proudly features the Pronovias Priveé Collection and Oksana Mukha, for which it is the exclusive Northern California retailer.
